Monitoring & Evaluation Intern

Overview of the Position The monitoring and evaluation intern will be expected to support data collection and analysis. Duration: This is an 8-week internship with the possibility of extension. The interns should use this time to the best of their abilities to contribute towards the project to provide innovative solutions. Experience and Qualification:  Bachelor’s degree in the field of maths, statistics, information technology, computer science or any other related field.  Experience handling data sets and setting up trackers.  Experience using Excel as well as statistical analysis software such as SPSS. Responsibilities:  Monitor the activities in the field based on project implementation.  Assist in developing operational monitoring tools (checklist, questionnaires, databases, interview and survey forms, etc.).  Weekly Data collection, data entry & data analysis based on project requirements and ensuring data accuracy and reliability.  Provide timely inputs for new initiatives and improvements in M&E processes.  Provide inputs to project reports and publications as required by M&E team.  Support project implementation teams in needs assessments.  Support with administrative functions as required. Skills and Attitudes:  Good research and data analysis skills.  Excellent IT and Excel skills.  Should be able to work with the team.  Ability to work with people from various backgrounds and of varying age groups  Flexible and adaptable.  Passionate about the filed education and equity  Willing to learn
