Cargill has been conducting business in Malaysia since 1978. Today, our operations include: Animal feed mills located at Melaka, Butter-worth, West port and Kota Kinabalu Shrimp hatchery located at Pekan, Kuantan Grain & Oilseed Supply Chain distribution centres operating out of Westport and Butterworth Palm oil refineries located at Port Klang, Kuantan, Westport, and a joint venture refinery in Kuching, Sarawak. In addition to these facilities, the Southeast Asia Food Application Center in Kuala Lumpur is one of Cargill’s three food application centers in Asia. Established in August 2008, the Southeast Asia Application Center serves customers in the Southeast Asia region on the food applications of beverages, dairy, confectionery, bakery and ice cream and ingredients application and testing of stabilizers, emulsifiers, specialty fats, cooking oils, cocoa and sweeteners.
