Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include : 1. Understanding the product line (financial services/risk management/investment or insurance products) and zeroing in on the target customer segment and geographic area 2. Understanding the past efforts done in the organization and lessons learnt 3. Making demo calls within the office to prepare for field work 4. Taking part in discussion about planning to penetrate with maximum number of prospects 5. Undertaking fieldwork (occasionally be accompanied by the regular employees in the fieldwork) 6. Updating the Company database and identifying the right prospectus for continued follow-up 7. Convincing targets with our value proposal by way of sending appropriate mailers 8. Ensuring one on one meetings, participating in the meeting, carrying on the follow-up work in line with the discussion 9. Holding an in-house discussion on regular basis about the field experience and how to make improvement
