The responsibilities of being an SEO Writer would be: • Creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines for the website; Those In Need and Humans of Society • Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices • Collaborating with campaign managers, creative team, and designers • Writing a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, banners, case studies, etc.) • Interviewing sources The pre-requisites would be: • Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones • Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO; A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs • Laid-back, easy-to-understand writing that gets our point across without sounding too serious.
