Urban struggles in India Intercultural Resources is immediately looking for some volunteers/interns to help us in research and documentation with focus on urban struggles in India such as housing, water, labour, gender, education, health etc The selected intern(s) will work on following during the internship: Interns would be expected to gather information (data) on various urban struggles in India - ongoing movements and struggles as well as thousands of struggles that happened earlier. The interns would be visiting libraries and resource centers in Delhi and would gather data/information on urban struggles and help in compiling them, arranging and writing a brief description of each movement/struggles etc. The interns would also assist in gathering information on various articles, books, films, documentaries and various other documentations done on urban issues in India. They will be supervised and guided by the expert team at ICR. Continuous monitoring and evaluation of the intern's work will be done regularly. The interns would get immense knowledge and experience by working under the guidance of scholars and experts in the ICR panel.

About Intercultutral Resources (http://www.icrindia.co.in): Intercultural Resources (ICR) is a non-profit organisation established for research, documentation and intervention on social, political, economic and environmental, gender, human rights and urban issues. It is a Delhi based civil society organisation that is engaged in research, documentation, publication and intervention. ICR comprises of a team of scholars, academicians and activists with vast experience in research, documentation. ICR is also engaged in conducting media training and writing on critical issues of importance. ICR is associated with several people's movements and people’s struggles combating the mainstream development, especially the marginalised, urban poor, Dalits and the Adivasis.

On successful completion, the interns would be awarded a certificate along with a letter for good conduct and recommendation if needed.
