SHOPIFY DESIGNER & DEVELOPER INTERN

Mont Royal Essence is a Canadian premium wellness brand built on Shopify. We continuously refine our website’s design, structure, and performance to deliver a clean, elevated digital experience. We are hiring a Shopify Designer & Developer Intern based in India who is highly proficient in Liquid and CSS and can confidently customize Shopify themes. Work Structure - Remote role (India-based) Must be available for partial overlap with EST (Eastern Standard Time) for coordination meetings and collaboration 20–30 hours per week Role Overview- This is a hands-on Shopify role combining development and design execution. You will work directly inside theme files and implement clean, responsive layouts aligned with a premium brand aesthetic. Key Responsibilities 1.Design & Create clean, premium product visuals and banners 2.Maintain consistent brand styling across pages Development 3.Build and modify Shopify sections using Liquid 4.Write clean, responsive CSS 5.Customize product cards and collection layouts 6.Implement pricing logic and sale badges 7.Improve mobile responsiveness 8.Optimize layout structure and styling Required- Shopify Skills Strong proficiency in Liquid Strong proficiency in CSS (responsive, mobile-first) Experience editing Shopify templates, sections, and snippets Ability to create and configure section schema Experience customizing product and collection pages Understanding of Shopify theme structure Basic JavaScript knowledge Qualifications- Portfolio showing real Shopify customization work Live Shopify stores you’ve worked on Ability to work independently and execute efficiently Strong attention to detail
